William Andrew House : ウィキペディア英語版 | William Andrew House
The William Andrew House, also known as the Richard Bryan House or the Bryan-Andrew House, is a historic house at 131 Old Tavern Road in Orange, Connecticut. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.〔 It is now a house museum operated by the local historical society. The house was built about 1750 for the Bryan family, early settlers in North Milford. This area was known as "Bryan's Farms." The house includes a finely detailed front cornice, feather-edged sheathing, and hand-split lath laboriously installed without nails. The house later served as housing for dairy farm employees and was ultimately bought by the Town of Orange in 2000 to be restored for use as a museum.〔(CT Trust for Historic Preservation )〕 ==See also==
